Nobody wants to eat an overspiced stew. Here is a quick guide on
how to fix one so it's edible.
Steps
- Add raw cut potatoes and discard once they have cooked and
absorbed the salt or spices.
- Add a teaspoon of sugar and a teaspoon of cider vinegar.
Tips
- Place the potatoes in a strainer while cooking to make removal
easier at end. Or even better yet, put them into a tea strainer,
close it and you don't have to search for them when you have
finished.
Warnings
- Have some idea of how much 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
increases the heat of 1 gallon of liquid food...no matter what. If
you don't like to thirst for ages, then lessen the cayenne to 1/4
teaspoon.
