How To Look Like A Rock Chick

Steps

1. Buy a pair of metallic heels, or a high heeled pair of black boots. Wear them with fishnet tights for a rocky look.(don't like heels try flats work just as well and sometimes look better!)
2. Buy a bomber or leather jacket. You can find some for a bargain, and they look really great! Try to get them in black or silver, or with glittery designs on them. Or you could put the designs on yourself with some glitter or some studs.
3. Buy some oversized sunglasses. You can find these really cheap, and sometimes you can find them with silver studs on or design. (try Primark they have a great range of huge sunnies)
4. Buy chunky silver jewelry! Chains around your neck or silver bangles really work!
5. Sparkly shirts or rock band shirts are a must! Sparkly tops should be bright and worn with chains around your neck, and rock tops should be quite loose and look great with a leather jacket thrown over the top.
6. Buy a metallic bag to carry around all your stuff!
7. Buy some skinny jeans and wear them with flat black ballet pumps for a cool look!
8. Buy unusual things like a trilby, try putting some funky coloured ribbon round it and tying a bow in the side and wear it anything for a unique 'edge'!
9. Buy a short, ripped, dark denim skirt and wear it with black opaque tights for a groovy look.
10. Black boots and black tights look great with that ripped skirt, and to jazz it up abit wear a bright top to make you stand out all the more!
11. Wear silver chains on your jeans, or try putting safety pins with lettered beads into them (be sure to remove when put in the wash!)

Tips

• Wear your favorite band's colors.
• Do what you want, don't give a second thought to what other people think. They're being themselves, and so are you.
• Don't fancy being a 'hardcore' rock chick? Try a white tank top, low rise jeans with a couple of chains, trainers and a jacket- still a rock chick look but more understated! :)
• whatever you wear look and feel fantastic, have fun and smile (it worries people!)
• Got a fave band but can't find a name shirt any where, simple make one yourself! Use some Dylon Image maker to transfer images to clothing, once you've got the hang of it you can use it to make anything look brilliant!

Warnings

• Don't overdo it, you will look bad.
• Be very careful, there is a fine line between Rock Chick and EMO. Wearing flats with skinny jeans will often cause this reaction - skinny jeans with boots look fab (in this case flat boots are better).
• Many Rock Chicks are into drugs - that doesn't mean you have to be. They are expensive, ridiculous and very dangerous. Don't believe me just look at all the talanted people who've died over the years due to drug OD - Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix. It might seem cool at the time, but how cool will it be when you're dead?
• Certain boots will make you look like a hooker instead of a rocker, so be careful what you match it with. Or you can get the boots that end just above your ankle.
