To make this dish, you need some left over mashed potatoes from dinner to make a tasty (if not slightly strange) breakfast dish called Bubble and Squeak, named for the sound it makes as cooking. Other ingredients include an onion, some shredded cabbage, and a little butter. Salt and pepper to taste as well.

 | Go ahead, before you ever start, and pre-boil your cabbage for 15 minutes, and pre-chop your onions! Save yourself time!!!! |
Step 1: Warm your pan and melt your butter!
Put your pan over a medium-low flame and put the 2 tbsp of butter into the pan. Let melt.
Step 2: Chop onion and drop into warmed pan.
Chop onion finely and put into pan with butter to fry for a few minutes until the onions are clear.
Step 3: Add shredded cabbage
Add precooked cabbage to the onions and let warm through thoroughly.
Step 4: Fold in leftover potatoes
Add the mashed potatoes to your pan and mix everything together thoroughly. Gently press into a pancake shape and let brown on the bottom. About 5 minutes. Turn over and repeat process. When done, slide from the pan onto a plate, cut and serve!
