Fried rice is one of the most common foods in Asia, and it is so
simple to make. On every street corner in Thailand, you find food
stalls, offering plates of fried rice. There are a few varieties of
fried rice, and Thai fried rice goes in a much different
direction.
In Thailand, fried rice serves as a lunch dish, and it is often
served with cucumber and a wedge of lime on the side.
The most popular fried rice is crab fried rice. Cooking fried
rice is also a great way to clean leftovers from your refrigerator
since any vegetables and meats you have in your fridge will do.
For meats, you can use just about everything - bacon, crab,
chicken, ham, tofu - you name it. Any vegetables will do very well
too.
