Where can I get professional help for grieving?
If you're looking for professional help, or even just a bereavement group, some of the places you might look are you could call your local hospital and ask if them if they have grief or bereavement groups. Most hospitals do. You could call your local hospice and ask them for when their bereavement groups are beginning next. And just know, when it comes to calling a hospital or a hospice, you do not have to have any affiliation with that hospital or hospice. Your loved one didn't have to die in that hospice to attend their bereavement groups. So just know you can always call them. Many people will also check with their church, their temple, their synagogue, their place of worship to see if they have groups for people who have lost their loved ones. So many times your community has resources at large that you can just find by looking in your local yellow pages under grief or counseling and you will see some information there. But also most bereavement groups are free. So just know that there's one that you can afford that's usually close by.
