In order to advertise your car when you're getting ready to sell, traditionally, people have gone to the newspaper classifieds and posted it there, knowing that a lot of buyers were using that as a good resource. In the new world, the internet is the classifieds for car buyers. Sites like Auto Trader, which charge a small fee for posting your vehicle with photographs and a small description, or other sites like Craig's List, where for no charge you are allowed to put photographs and a small description; it gets the vehicle out to the right person because the person looking up that particular vehicle is going to have your car in mind already. If they're looking for a red Honda, they're going to type that into the search criteria. Hopefully you've written your vehicle up so that it's delivered to the person for their consideration right away.
