What kind of art should I be buying to start a collection?

It depends on the level of your budget, it depends on what you're interested in, in terms of aesthetically and conceptually, and all of those factors vary. So it just truly depends on those points. If somebody's interested in building a very serious collection, then we would say okay, start with established artists, or if somebody's interested in following what's happening now and following young artists, we'd say point them that direction. It just varies really on budget and aesthetics.
