People appear in E-mail as a name and you create an identity. You can easily look at your inbox and pick out people and say, "Gee, I always get E-mails from so and so. This person tends to be very long or confusing" or "This persons very short and brief" or "This person puts lots of attachments on" or "This person has misspellings". So you create a persona that you project into an E-mail that may not be the image that you want to create. And so, sometimes people aren't quite aware of that, they're so busy doing E-mail that they quickly bang out an E-mail and send it without really thinking about the image that they're creating by the receiver.
