It is advisable to use a credit card when you're ordering a bridal gown. It does protect you, the consumer, against any kind of malpractice or discrepancy with your order on the part of the manufacturer or bridal salon. However, if you choose to pay cash, sometimes you can negotiate a discount on your gown. Also, be aware that in a credit card dispute, although you, the consumer, are the person that the credit card company will back first and foremost, if you do not have proper grounds, or accurate paperwork or documentation to back up your complaint, you may lose the case.
