Are there cheaper, easier alternatives to fast food?
Jane Furnival (Author) gives expert video advice on: Is it cheaper to cook in bulk? and more...
There are cheaper, easier alternatives to fast food. Eggs are fantastic, especially if they're laid by your own hands, as mine are. Other cheap cooking ideas include cans of soup - or even make your own soup. This is an easy alternative to fast food: you just fry an onion, add a few potatoes, add some flavouring (e.g. carrots) and boil it all up. Then you can liquidise it down. Baked potatoes, pasta with a sprinkling of cheese, and salad are also cheap and easy alternatives to fast food that help save money on shopping. All these things take seconds. They're much nicer.
