If you want to go Dutch on a date, you probably got to see how the date was planned. Because if she was doing the planning and she was making all the arrangements, then I think she would be OK to split it half and half. But if you are presenting her with this entire evening and then you are like” oh, by the way you pay half”. She is like “I never wanted to go to ---- and then a basketball game. Like I think that is really lame. I am not paying half of that. So bye”. You do not want to go Dutch on that situation.
