There are a range of different qualifications for higher education available to people at university. They include: access courses, foundation courses, degree courses and HNCs/HNDs. The full listing of all the courses available can be found via the UCAS course search facility on the UCAS website. The length of courses do vary; they can range from to a year to four years, depending on the university you wish to go to and the course selected.
