A chiropractor is extremely well trained to deal with whiplash. The first task is to control the pain and inflammation by using gentle chiropractic adjusting; using the use of ice, colaser, or using microcurrent. Once the pain and inflammation starts to diminish, then normal function, a range of motion restored through the use of chiropractic adjusting, therapy, and manual techniques to make sure that the muscles are working correctly. Then, through some supportive home exercises by the patient including stretching and then, ultimately, some strengthening exercises.
