Skirts with pleats is tough because you don't want to wear pants with pleats, they're not flattering at all. But you could sometimes pull off a pencil skirt that has pleats, only if the top in the pleat is sort of the piece de resistance of the outfit. So you would want to wear it with something that was tucked in, really fitted, a skinny top with sort of that pleated bottom. Otherwise, not good, and only really thin women can pull it off because a more curvaceous woman, like myself, can't wear pleats, it widens the whole thing and its a disaster area.
