What should always be in my car's emergency kit?
Every driver should have an emergency kit in their car and some of the supplies you should carry on would be a disposable camera with flash. In the event of a collision, you are going to need pictures for evidence. Keep a disposable camera in your car and change it once a year because the outside temperature can effect the film and the camera. Another thing you want to have is a bottle of aspirin. Aspirin will come in handy in a variety of situations and it is good to have in the car, inexpensive and, as they say, works wonders. Now if you should break down out in the middle of the desert on a hot day, for example, it would be good to have some sunscreen with you. It doesn't take up much space and is great to have in the car. Another thing you want to have in your car is a supply of bandages in various sizes for minor cuts and other wounds. You might want to have a container of hand sanitizer, this comes in very handy as well. Since you need to take down information in the event of an accident or any other notes you may need to take, a notepad and a ballpoint pen would be great. Also, you want to carry along a supply of water in case you are stuck in your car for awhile you'll definitely need that. In case you get hungry, a little survival food which could take the form of a granola bar. Another thing you want to take along is a set of jumper cables., you may think your battery is working OK but you never know when you may need to jump the car or you may need to help someone else start their car.
