This is a great question because there are a lot of physicians in this country giving Botox injections. And the range of those giving Botox injections goes from plastic surgeons to family practitioners and radiologists. Almost anybody can buy Botox as long as they have a medical license. I think what's important is that whoever is doing your Botox injections is qualified. In my personal opinion, that should be either a dermatologist, facial plastic surgeon or certainly a plastic surgeon. For many physicians, what's interesting is they have either physician assistants or nurse practitioners that are giving the Botox injections within their office.
