Should my diet depend on how much weight I have to lose?
Andrea Giancoli (Registered Dietician ) gives expert video advice on: How many pounds per week should I lose for safe weight loss?; If I lose weight on a fad diet, how can I keep it off?; Is gastric bypass surgery a good way to lose weight? and more...
Depending on how much weight you have to lose, you still need to do it in a nutritionally balanced healthy way. If you have less weight to lose then it's going to take you less time than somebody that has more weight to lose. If you've got a lot of weight to lose then you've got to buckle down and realize that it's going to take some time to get that weight off. It took some time to put that weight on, and it's harder to get it off. It's going to take you longer than somebody that's just trying to lose 10 pounds, versus 50 or 60, or whatever it may be.
