How do I play fantasy football?
To play fantasy football, you first get a group of owners together, whether it's live or on a computer. Then what you do is you draft your team. Throughout the draft, you're going to pick players at different positions: quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end, kickers - and then every team will also pick a defensive team to form all of your defensive stats. Each position is going to score different points for your fantasy football team throughout the season and every week. You want quarterbacks to get passing yards and touchdowns. For running backs, wide receivers and tight end, you're going to look for receiving yards, rushing yards and touchdowns. Touchdowns, of course, are the best category that you can get because you can get six points for every touchdown. Kickers are not that important, but pretty much every point they score in real life they'll score for your fantasy football team. For defensive teams, it really depends on what league you're in. In general, if they don't give up many points in real life, if they get a lot of sacks and turnovers, then they'll score points for you. Basically, you get together with your team, you pick who you think are going to be the best players and teams, and then you watch it unfold. As the season goes along, whoever picked the best players and picks up the best players, will score the most points and win the fantasy football league.
