How do high-end florists differ from low-end shops?
Holly Vesecky (Owner & Designer, Holly Flora) gives expert video advice on: What are the pros and cons of buying flowers at the supermarket?; How can I tell if a florist is good or not? and more...
If you're not well versed in flowers, you can go to Conroy's or a low end flower shop that's making production work. They have 6 vases and they just add the same flower to every vase over and over, so it's not thought out. The same arrangement has probably been made thousands and thousands of times, which means that it's not special. If it's something that you just have to send to a colleague and you want to get it over with, you might want to use a Conroy's. I would definitely hit up a high end florist because they will spend the time to create something unique for you.
