The problem with football today is there's just too much individualism. It's a team game, it's not track and field. And the problem is when someone does something individual, does a dance, or showboats, or tries to draw attention to himself, then he gets the attention, not the team which is the more important part of that. I think that's what breaks up a lot of teams- that there's just too much individualism, there's too much about 'me,' it's a 'me' sport, or I'm not getting the ball, or you're not blocking for me. It's a team effort and sometimes you're going to make mistakes, and sometimes the other guy's going to make mistakes. But I think the problem with football today is there's just too much individualism, and the news media just runs with that, and they print it all over the papers, and they put it all over the newscasts.
