How long will it take to get a quality hairpiece?
When a client comes in, first of all we have to make a mould to his head. And the mould, on everybody's head is different, so the mould will be different to each person. And that takes about 15 to 20 minutes to make it. And after we do the mould we take a sample of the hair on the side of his head, hair that's in the back of his head because the colour sometimes, is not the same. Sometimes it's darker in the back and lighter on the side and then we have to blend that to the system that we're going to put on his head. We have to make sure he has a natural hairline. We have a little bit of receding hairline. You cannot have a straight hairline because it doesn't look natural. Then we take the texture of his hair to make sure, if his hair is wavy, we have to order wavy, if it's straight we order it straight. If the client is Caucasian, he cannot get a Chinese hair, he has to get European hair. If the client is an Asian, you have to get Asian hair. You cannot mix either one. Plus, on the hair system, if you do put the hair into the system, you have to put it in the same direction you took it out of the other human because you're going to cause a lot of tangles if you're not going to put it in the same direction. Because the hair grows like a cactus. If you take that hair and reverse it and put it on the system, two weeks later you're going to get a lot of tangles. So, good hairpieces don't get tangles. So, we have to inject the hair in the same direction, coming out of your head into the system then you're not going to have those tangles.
