What are the most dangerous guns?
Actually, the most dangerous gun out there now is any gun that is loaded and particularly a loaded gun in the wrong hands. Any gun can be dangerous. An old revolver with only one bullet in it can be dangerous if the two year old finds it hidden under the couch and ends up shooting himself or herself. That sort of thing does happen. A gun that is in the hands of the wrong person: a teenager, somebody that is angry, somebody that has road rage, somebody that is drunk. All guns are dangerous. All loaded guns are dangerous and the issue is who is getting access to those guns. Some guns can be more dangerous than others. Semiautomatics that fire a number of rounds quickly obviously are going to be more dangerous than a gun that is only going to be firing one bullet at a time as the chamber moves. Guns that can pierce body armor for police officers are going to be more dangerous than guns that do not. Guns like the .50 caliber sniper rifle. Guns that can shoot from far away and take down helicopters are obviously more dangerous than others. But the bottom line is: any loaded gun is dangerous if it is in the wrong hands or if it is the wrong place, or if it is used by somebody that is not thinking straight on what they are doing.
