What is 'waxing'?

Sue Ismiel (Executive Chair of the LifeSource Group) gives expert video advice on: What are the most common methods of home hair removal?; Why can't I just shave?; Whats the fastest way to remove hair? and more...

Waxing is a procedure that has been used for many, many years. Some waxes are made of beeswax, and this is the type of wax that actually sticks on the legs or on whatever area that it is applied to, and then it's removed without the strip. It's actually flicked off your legs. There's the strip wax and this particular wax is made of glucose, honey, molasses, sugar, water, and so on. It's a similar process; it is applied to the area hot and a paper strip or a cloth strip is then used and it pulls off with the hair.
