Shelbi Wilson (Teacher, Lincoln High School, Riverside, CA) gives expert video advice on: What's the secret to keeping up with high school science concepts?; Why is it important to take science classes in high school? and more...
One of the things that will help you keep up, especially with science, even if you're in a classroom, you can ask your teacher if you can do more hands on. Get in there. Get involved with the chemicals in science. A lot of times in schools today, we're not able to utilize chemicals in science, but you can ask your teacher about going out and doing science research projects, or maybe doing some science at home on your own to make that more hands on for yourself, so you can learn the different science concepts that may seem too technical for you, or maybe you're just not getting. Ask your teacher for ways that you can make science more hands on or you can do more hands on science experiments, so that you can get a better understanding of science concepts.
