I think you have to keep in mind that this is a home office, it's in your home and you don't have endless amount of space. Big store rooms or file cabinets in them like you might in your office, and so you don't have the space to store everything. You have to be extra vigilant about looking at every piece of paper and saying, "Do I really need this? Do I really want to keep track of this? Is this something that's that important". And if it's not important then shred it, and get rid of it because you just don't have that kind of space and, eventually you're going to have to go through and do that anyway, so why not do it now? Why wait for six months when it's so out of control at that point that you're tearing your hair out saying, "Oh my god, my home office is a mess." So just do it.
