It is always appropriate to order flowers for a man. I do tons of male arrangements. You just have to tell the florist that you are delivering the flowers to a man, especially if its an ambiguous name. You want to make sure that it's not too feminine and that it's tailored. Orchid plants, again, are great for men; antheriums are great for men; things that are more textural and masculine in nature.
