How should I prepare for a facelift?
Steve Fallek (Plastic Surgeon & Medical Director, Face Focus Medical Spa, New York City) gives expert video advice on: How should I prepare for a facelift?
I think the most important thing in terms of preparation for a facelift is to know your doctor. You want to go to a reputable plastic surgeon or facial plastic surgeon. Ways to do that are by going on the internet and checking some reputable websites, including the plastic surgery website, and you may want to ask your friends or colleagues or somebody who has had a facelift. Another good way to choose a good plastic surgeon is by asking some of the operating room nurses at your local hospital who they might suggest. There are a variety of pre-treatment regimens that doctors choose for a facelift. Some doctors may choose to do nothing for your face, while other doctors may have a long and extensive regimen, which may include moisturizers or skin creams or other ways to prep your face for a facelift.
