You need to see your doctor and determine whether or not you're an appropriate candidate for a tummy tuck. One of the most common questions I get is, “How soon can I get a tummy tuck after pregnancy?” I generally like to wait about a year before doing a tummy tuck or any plastic surgery on a post-pregnant woman. That's because those tissues are still changing. Patients are still losing fat. I tell patients to wait at least a year until their last child before having a tummy tuck.
