Psoriasis is something that is not caused by stress but can be greatly exacerbated by stress. This makes these disorders even more frustrating than they would otherwise be. Because when you're stressed and you feel like dealing with them the least of all is when you're called upon to deal with them the most. So certainly controlling stress would decrease the number of psoriatic layers.
