A Skype phone is a device that has a wi-fi antenna built in that's designed to make internet phone calls all on its own. It's a standalone unit and basically it attaches itself to your wireless network and gives the user the ability to make and receive phone calls using their Skype account, in which they can add minutes into with a PayPal account or credit card.
