How did you get into this line of work?

In the life of a fashion stylist, I got into this line of work by being involved in fashion since I can remember when. But I truly decided to become a fashion stylist once I had my son Sam who is now 15. I absolutely adore being a mum but at the same time I thought “I can't give up work”, but I knew I had to work around his nursery holidays. In the life of a fashion stylist I thought “You know what, that's it. Now's the time, I'm going to go it alone.”, and for me it was a brave thing to do, because I thought “My god there's no security”, you know I was all on my own, and I was thinking “I've got a mortgage to pay, what am I going to do.” Getting into this line of work as a fashion stylist was the best thing I could ever have done, because I was under so much pressure that it had to work.
