How did you become a wedding planner?

I became a wedding planner because I had been made redundant from my previous job and was taking time out trying to figure out what I wanted to do. I knew I wanted to do something that would involve the skills I had from when I was working in investment banking, but also involved a lot more people contact, where I could be more creative because I have a creative personality that hadn't been utilized, so I came up with planning events and weddings.
