MP3 players' song storage is based on the compression of the audio file itself. If the audio file is compressed at a greater rate that means that it's not going to sound as good but the audio files are a lot smaller, and the MP£ player stores more. If the audio file is not as compressed it means the files are larger, the MP3 player stores fewer but they sound better.
