Someone has made a low offer - how do I get them to increase it?

With offers for a house, if someone has made a low offer on your house it can be very difficult to get them to raise their offer if they can't afford to. The simplest thing is to say that you are going to continue to market your house for awhile. If the prospective buyers continue to be interested, they will come back with a higher offer for your house. There is nothing specific that you can do unless you have more than one buyer after your house.
