Permanent make-up can be used to conceal imperfections that are light to the surrounding skin. Therefore, scars are light to the surrounding skin, and conditions such as vitiligo can be treated with permanent make-up. Where we would be limited is if the imperfection was darker than the surrounding skin, then the permanent make-up would not be able to help conceal that type of imperfection.
