What you shouldn't wear to prom is matchy-matchy. So if you're wearing a baby pink dress, it does not mean that you need to wear a baby pink satin bag. It does not mean you have to match your shoes to your dress. If you're head to toe matchy-matchy, that's a big no-no. So you want to avoid that.You also want to avoid showing too much skin, because oftentimes you see a lot of girls at prom that are showing the boobs, they're showing the butt. Pick an asset that you like and roll with it. If you're going here, skimp on the bottom. If you're doing a short bottom, cover up the top. Because it's about balance. You're going to look at these pictures later on, you are going to look at them with your kids. You don't want Mommy to look like a hooch.
