There are many different types of radiation, either occuring naturally or used in diagnostic examinations. They are particulate in some instances, they are waves in some other instances and they will have to have different effects on the body. The danger of radiation to any individual is variable, it depends on that individual and the health of that particular individual. Some people are more susceptible because of genetics.
