How is rectal bleeding treated?

Rectal bleeding is generally treated immediately by stopping the bleeding. Rectal bleeding usually stops on its own and is an intermittent condition. When rectal bleeding occurs, however, one needs to find out exactly what the source of bleeding is because it needs to be appropriately treated before it can cause further damage or progress if it's a more serious condition.
