Sclerotherapy threatments by injection should be treated by a physician, specifically a plastic surgeon or dermatologist who feels comfortable with injecting into the tiny veins. This is not a procedure that should be done by a technician or by an esthetician. If in fact, a laser is going to be used, then the doctor should also be administering it. In general, sclerotherapy should be done by the doctor.
