If you believe that you don't have much risk because you are a light smoker. One, two or five cigarettes a day and you wonder, “I think this is safer for me, I got back. Is this really safer for everyone around me?" Well it depends on who else breaths the smoke from your cigarette. Sure, if you're smoking thirty cigarettes a day versus one cigarette a day the toxic load is less and we know that there is a direct relationship. The more you smoke the more the damage to you and to everyone around you. Is there a safe level of cigarette smoke? That's really the question boil down to,” Can I get back to a point where safe for everyone?" The answer is NO; there is no safe level of cigarette smoke either to individual or to the people in the environment where breathing in secondhand or passive smoke.
