Where are the best places to shop?
Hazel Wooten: I think almost anywhere really. It depends on your budget. I think Marks and Spencer is always a great stomping ground for basics. And, Vanita? Vanita Sareen: I think there's a massive way that people can go. The key thing is that you've got to look for good fabric because you need the support of great fabric and you need slightly more tailoring. Hazel: But, that depends on budget as well. Vanita: Yeah. But you know, fact is there. You can get that one terribly well when on the high street. Hazel: Yeah. Vanita: So, I think what you've got to do is, obviously if your budget is going to be one way, you could go and you've got the choice of designers because there's no disputing that if you buy a designer garment, you are getting so much more in every sense. It's the tailoring. The fabric, the quality, the longevity of it. However there are times when you've got to be slightly more cross-thinking on this. And you can go to places and, I think, you can go to wonderful places like Austin Reed, they're great with tailoring and fantastic. Yeager is wonderful. People used to say, "Yeager, it's a bit stuffy." Not at all. It's amazing. You can go and look at, for example, I am a big fan of someone like TK Maxx. Hazel: Yeah, great stuff if you find it. Anita: If your budget, again, is not going to be at when it comes in this year. Go look in places like that. It takes time but you more than get it back with an ideal find in there. Hazel: Yeah. And I actually feel if you're tight on budget, there are so many factory outlets, if you only track them down, that you can get the looks that Vanita's talking about on a budget. Vanita: The thing to do is, if you're buying clothes and you're buying on a budget, avoid prints. Always stick to plain colors like the black, the browns, the charcoals. Try not, if possible, to buy a print if you're buying on a budget because that with, going to give your whole outfit away. If it's gray, if it's black, if it's whatever fawn, when it's that color, nobody knows anything about it. Hazel: It's true. Vanita: But the minute you dip your toe in the print water, then you're actually telling more than you're planning to tell. Hazel: Yeah. You're treading on dangerous ground.
