Hormones can affect hair color when women are pregnant, also when they are either perimenopausal or menopausal; several things can happen. The color usually takes faster if there's a lot of body heat, which happens with a lot of menopausal women is they'll have a hot flash the color can take faster and so as color issues have to be aware of it. And with pregnant women sometimes on some clients you'll see growth spurt and on other clients you'll notice that they've got hair loss. Typically the hair loss will come after they stop breast feeding and their body is coming back to normal then they will start with the hair loss but the hair always comes back it almost always comes back.
