Anytime of the year is really a great time to get a tattooed. However if you are planning on going on a trip during the summertime and spending time at the beach or at the pool you might want to consider that before getting tattooed because you do need to wait for a tattoo to heal before swimming or laying out in the sun. So come in the winter because it might be a little bit slower at the shop too. Before going in the sun or swimming with your new tattoo we recommend at least a couple of weeks but make sure that the tattoo has already healed. So you can give it up to a month that's always best to make sure that your tattoo is fully healed before exposing it to the sunlight or extended periods of swimming.
