I think any candidate who believes that you can attack immigrants as the problems that face us economically, as the real problem that faces us economically, is fooling themselves and certainly not trying to attract the Latino vote, because for many of us--son of immigrants, or others who are very close to that immigrant experience--we know what it took to make it in this country, and so you attack an immigrant you attack me. I think a lot of Latinos will tell you that. But that doesn't mean immigration or bilingual education, those issues that sometimes get associated with the Latino community, are the only issues that will drive a person's decision on whom to support for president.
