Trip cancellation is insurance that you have in the event that you cancel a trip. So some of the things that it will cover is it will cover your airfares, if you have a non-refundable airfare. Or if you have hotel deposits already made, it will cover you for those. If you have a deposit on a cruise ship and you're not able to make the trip, it will cover you for that as well. But one of the things you want to be aware of is that sometimes it's very difficult to abide by the rules and regulations, and so what you want to make sure that you do is read what restrictions they impose upon you before purchasing that insurance.
