What is "vitamin D"?
Well, the fact is that calcium won't work without vitamin D. A lot of people feel that they have to have massive amounts of vitamin D and I know that there's a lot of controversy about that right now, but the fact of the matter is that the very best source of vitamin D is to go out in the sun for 5 minutes a day and absorb it through the irises of your eye. That's the vitamin D3 that is then converted into vitamin D that your body utilizes with the calcium for production of strong bones and strong teeth and you know, strong hair follicles and so on throughout your body. Vitamin D is essential. You do need to get it, but you don't necessarily need to take copious amounts of it in a supplement form, you might be best to just step outside, on sunny days, and spend 5 minutes in the sun without sunglasses on, doesn't work with sunglasses.
