Self-waxing is very safe provided you know what you're doing. You have to know what you're doing. You can wax your own eyebrows if you like, but if you put too much on and remove the full eyebrow, you wouldn't want to do that. You have to know exactly what you're doing. As far as safety, avoid burning yourself, and I would imagine that would be the worst thing that could happen to you. Other than that, other than the small bruising that will disappear in a couple of days, really there's no danger in waxing yourself at home.
