Should my silk wedding gown be steamed or pressed?

Sally Grigsby (Owner of Belle Bridal) gives expert video advice on: What is the difference between pressing and steaming?; How long does it take to press a wedding gown?; How do I decide my wedding gown's color? and more...

A silk wedding gown should be steamed, but again with a pressurized steamer. Never ever use an ordinary domestic steamer on a silk gown because the water that comes out can mark your dress. You need to use a professional steamer that typically only a reputable store would have.
