The difference between pressing and steaming a wedding gown is very important. First and foremost, it should always be undertaken by a professional. You would never steam or press a bridal gown yourself. And you do need to have the right equipment. The gowns, if they are steamed, are steamed under pressure so that it's a dry steam system. No actual water hits your gown, because water can stain a gown.
