You want your makeup artist to know what your hair is going to be and you want your hairdresser to know what your make-up is going to be at your wedding. They are very interrelated. Very often, if you are having hair and make-up done by professionals at the same place, if they are both coming to the hotel to do it, they will start your hair then do some of your makeup, finish your hair and then finish your make-up. They will actually switch back and forth so that everything is well integrated. You want to be sure that your make-up artist knows what your hairstyle is like. If it is up, they will know that they have to perhaps do some makeup on the back of your neck or down around the side of your jaw line, etc. You want them to know what the parameters are going to be.
